A collaborative anthology built by working writers, for aspiring writers. We're mapping the real, modern, messy landscape of publishing: self-publishing, indie presses, serialization, hybrid models, and every unexpected detour in between.
No two author journeys are alike. We need voices from every corner of the modern publishing world.
Agent queries, Big 5 deals, advance checks, and the long road from manuscript to bookshelf. Your war stories and wins both belong here.
Creative control, KDP, cover design, serialization platforms, and building your own audience from the ground up. Tell us how you did it.
One foot in traditional, one in indie. Hybrid authors are reshaping the industry — your unique perspective on straddling both worlds is invaluable.
Queried for years? The journey itself is worth telling. Rejection, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of your publishing dream.
This is not a vanity anthology. As a co-author, you will receive real equity and real promotional infrastructure.
This is a partnership. If you are selected, you will receive an equitable royalty split of the book's earnings.
We have active interest from social media influencers, classrooms, and indie bookstores for distribution, alongside an established literary agent interested in shopping the completed project to major publishers.
You are encouraged to feature and market your own books within your chapter and during promotional appearances, provided The Path To Publishing remains the core focus.
Write your story honestly, and be willing to help market and promote the book.
Pen a compelling, transparent narrative chapter (approx. 2,000–3,000 words) detailing your specific publishing journey — the real story, including the structural hurdles and industry triumphs.
Engage in a collaborative developmental editing process to ensure a high-quality, polished narrative that serves the broader reader. You retain your voice — we just sharpen it together.
Show up for pre-booked marketing appearances further down the road (e.g., guesting on podcasts or participating in virtual workshops). Post to your socials and like the other posts from your co-authors. We handle all scheduling and logistics — you just show up, share your expertise and support your fellow authors.
Fill out our short application. Tell us about your publishing journey, your genre, and what you'd bring to this collaborative anthology. We review every submission and will be in touch personally.
By applying you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
